Browns Point, Dash Point and Northeast Tacoma are our corner of the Sound. We live here too. NE Tacoma Buzz is a small local news site about the places and people close to home: park projects, neighborhood traditions, local history, and the tables we gather around.

We are David and Courtney Berg. We are real estate agents with Homes on the Sound | Keller Williams Realty Puget Sound, and we also publish the print magazine Life on the Sound. This site is not about real estate. It is about the neighborhood we love.

How we work: we link every fact to its source, we send you to the organizer for dates and hours because those change, and we treat local businesses equally. Being written about here is free and is never an advertisement. Anything paid is clearly labeled “Advertisement.”

Browns Point and Dash Point’s Tacoma side are part of the City of Tacoma, in Pierce County. When we mention a place just over the line in Federal Way, we say so.
